Pointless speculation at this time, but I do love some pointless speculation.

Richard Naylor please, commanding centreback and captain.

Rory Fallon would be good, nice commanding centre forward for league 2.

It's a tough one - we are all likely to be influenced by FM stats. The last player I thought we should sign because I had seen him play well against us was Obika, so I will stay out of this!

That Donaldson fella is out of contract ain't he?

He'd be good.

Nathan Ellington - could definitely do a job in League 2
Callum Davidson (Preston) or Stephen O'Halloran (Coventry) - either could be useful left backs
Patrick Kisnorbo or Richard Naylor - would both be very experienced centre backs and could take on the captaincy
Clayton Mcdonald - i've always been impressed with him when i've seen him play for Walsall. An absolute tank who would not be intimidated by the physical nature of league 2
Michael Mcindoe - Could be the answer to our left midfield
Marvin Morgan - A big target man upfront and quite prolific last season before the fall out
Danny Webber - Would score a lot of goals at League 2 level
