Bodin - for holding his nerve from the penalty spot at Wembley.  Kerslake would be my other choice.

As Flemming is clearly going to be a nominee despite people never seeing him play, It's only fair that Jock Walker gets a mention. Caps for Scotland at the same time that Flemming was playing for England (I think they even played against each other in an international) and when Scotland were considered good at this football thing.

I'm going to fuck over Soniques nomination process by only doing one, take that babe.

What position did Fleming play though, a google search told me the he was an "Inside forward" and scored ton's of goals.

WTF is an inside forward?Huh?

I think it's where the olden days they used to play a weird 2-3-5 formation or something.

No such thing anymore, the old inside forward - best explained as a midfielder supporting the striker.

The old W formation isn't a millionmiles away from 4-3-3.....for Chelsea Fat Frank is really an inside forward.

Good shout on Jock Walker FB, he used to run a chip shop on the corner of Manchester Road and Corporation Street.

I used to go in there for chips and a natter on the way back from away games by train.

When Fleming played v Walker ....England v Scotland.....Billy Silto was 12th man,  no subs then so he didn't play.

This is a very tough call....Kerslake Bodin   definite quality....but they were more attackers, both being converted midfield players....in the Hoddle system thats what you want.

Rod Thomas and John Trollope were better defenders.

The pick really rests with what to do with Hoddle.
