Things can only get better

So glad you’re feeling better. Similar to my story where my temperature had been running in the high 38’s for two days aided slightly by maximum paracetamol dose up to yesterday. Now back to normal without paracetamol and hopefully will stay that way. Hadn’t considered vertigo but certainly when I get up to slowly make my way to the toilet I am a bit wobbly and light headed and wondered what might be causing that. Like yourself I was discussing calling an ambulance but my wife knew the correct answer was to remain home unless breathing became an issue. I continue resting in bed with a cough which appears to be bringing out some muck but understand it can be  a long recovery process from here.
Glad you're improving mate, yes the vertigo is the worst part for me, been with me 2 weeks now.

That's the one. Not the entire journey, so I was wrong there but that's definitely it. Nice one, thanks.

It's strange how that route looks like in that old clip without trees which now cover a lot of the route especially by Westlecott Road.

Inspired by Captain Tom, I feel I should be doing more than sitting on my arse watching programmes about border guards and crab fisherman.

I have no particular skills and there are not many things at which I excel. However, I have always been quite successful at knocking one out so I am proposing a "Wank for the NHS". Every time I hit my target, I will donate £1.00 which should raise enough money to buy a truckload of ventilators by the time I can go out and get a coffee.

Anyone prepared to give me a hand in this enterprise?

I need to keep up my 0.074 posts a day ratio somehow, so here’s my piece on what I - and all of us - should be but are not doing today.  Thanks to the Adver for carrying it.

That was brave.  I can't imagine what you have been - and are going - through.  Thanks for the link.

Saw this earlier via Twitter. Didn't imagine it was someone on here. So sorry for your loss, reading the piece brought a lump to the throat. FWIW, you've done an excellent job of paying tribute to both of them.
