Since when have some of our fans referred to us as “Swin” or “The Swin”? Perhaps I am getting old but that is utterly cringeworthy

TBH I have never heard it used by a Town fan.

Tbh, he didn’t need much help in having a shocker. That cross from Isgrove nearly caught him out as well. Strange comment from Mr Punch ‘We thought we could pin them back with the wind, and they pushed their left-back right up at the start of the second half. We had them pinned in, we gave a silly free-kick away, we should have never given that. I think the fella won it, but he’s an experienced fella against Mattie Pollock, and then they go and get a goal right from that.’ Had us pinned in? Didn’t we score within a minute of the 2nd half.

I think the timing was about 45 seconds into the 2nd half, they had us pinned for the first 44 seconds though

Just seen the highlights. If that goalkeeper is the same one who played in the game earlier this season, he may well lay claim to being the worst goalkeeper in the football league. What on earth was he doing for DJ’s goal

James McKeown is a good lower league goalkeeper but he had two stinkers against Swindon this season which was very much appreciated.
Thanks, J-Mac.

I may be in the minority here but it’s I’ve never been a big fan of Holloway. I’ve always got the impression he comes in with an initial bounce and a breath of fresh air but the longer he’s around he starts to come across as a bit of a dick including with the players. Sounds like he snapped at their local radio presenter after the game for daring to ask if he would be looking to make changes next game.

It seems to be a Twitter thing...Marley etc... not heard it before this season. I actually don't mind it.

In the same vein, I've never heard any of our fans use 'the Robins' in the stands. And yet that, apparently, is the club's official nickname/moniker. Better to have something that comes about organically, like this, I think. Even if 'the Swin' does sound a bit odd.
