Champagne is overrated.
Awful Muck. Tastes like a sweaty builder has farted into a bottle.

It's not actually, it's publicly listed, so it's owned by the shareholders. He may be the major shareholder, but it's not "his" to do with as he wishes. As chairman he has legal responsibilities to all shareholders
I’m so sorry.

I've had stuff, that is supposedly worth £500 a bottle, just don't like it. Prosecco is even worse. Beer trained taste buds I guess.

A Cambodian friend sent me this today, NOT because he found it amusing If you can ignore the few unpleasant images, it's simply brilliant. From the nation that brought you that song about Reading... https://www.facebook.com/npceusweden/videos/1637196723001077/?t=13

I like good Champagne. Had a lovely couple of bottle of English sparkling last week too - it's decent stuff.
I hate prosecco though. Devil's piss. Sweet, disgusting mass-produced shite.

Trump claiming that he has been contacted by thousands of parents of Korean war victims asking for help to return their remains.....
Its been noted that such parents would have to be 100+ years of age - perhaps we don't need the NHS after all.....

I enjoy some fizz every now and then. I think I mentioned in a separate post that we bought some Welsh Sparkling wine which is very good and Wiston do a good sparkling wine (its got quite slightly different taste, so maybe won't be liked by everyone but we enjoy a glass in the 'garden' occasionally)

Champagne's OK. The wife loves it. We've got a £200 bottle of DP we're too scared to open

When I lived in Luxembourg we (well I) took a drive to the champagne region with my now wife. (Close to Reims). You can stop at the small champagne makers and they let you taste their wares. Most of them provide the bigger, well known companies but you can buy bottles from them for a fraction of the price that the big boys charge.
Handily I could drive back to my flat and dump the bottle in the 'cave' (all apartments in Luxembourg are built with their own basements called caves where people can store things and put their washing machines etc.

Sounds like an altogether pleasant way to pass the time of day.
