i'm coming round to the idea. i think he could be a spark that our team needs, unfortunately that spark may be as inconsistent as someone like macca.

Fitness is they key. Clearly had 'it' at Swansea. Got to be worth a punt as a loan

He doesn't exist mate.

That's God, not Trundle. Well actually I'm not sure now...

That would be the highlight of our ill fated striker pursuit so far if Trundle turned out not to exist.

we will have to see monday if this is true or not. i cant see us taking on someone who is supposed to be unfit and lazy. surely he wudnt pass a fitness test. did he play any part in shittys pre-season? i can see how this could work because we need someone creative in our team.

I don't see how we can lose by taking him on loan until Christmas, especially as Bristol City will cover a good chunk of his wages. Worst case is we lose a few quid, best case is we get a decent striker for a few seasons.

He's exactly the kind of player we could do with upfront, plenty of experience which will help the younger players.

Does anyone know exactly how close to match fitness he is. I know he turned up to city for pre-season and was unfit and overweight but did he actually take part in their pre-season.

If he's fit then I think he could be handy but my fear is that he'll come in a couple of stone overweight and we'll have to give him a mini pre season before he is even of any use to us.

Supposedly on 10k a week at the moment so I hope Brizzle cover a good percentage of that.

Worth a punt if he’s fit mind although he’s apparently piled on more than a few pounds over the summer.

That's what I heard.  He was always a bit portly but I'd heard that he had amassed the figure of a couple of stone over the summer although that could be bollocks.

Isn't it the reason Johnson has given for wanting rid of Trundle though so can only assume he is at least a bit overweight

Trundle didn't play in any pre-season games,so apart from the fitness aspect, there's the lack of
match sharpness to consider as well.
