Yeah.

I've tried it before because I read it's supposed to make good chips but it never worked out. I think the trick that made it work this time was having them sit in the oil for a while before noticing it wasn't hot enough.

My stepdad and step brother have chips shops and burger bars in Chippenham.  Ive worked in most of them in my younger years and ate a lot of chips. So I quite like chips.  University days were marked by chips and cheese at Demontfort student union.

This seemed more interesting in my head.

Have you ever tried a deep fried mars bar? I had one once, to borrow a phrase from our friends near Wales it was Gurt Lush.
