I actually also agree. Doesn't get the hype or the crowds. Can't beat the atmosphere.

"(As a sport) I rate womens soccer just above going to the zoo and poking the animals with a stick"

Paraphrasing some Aussie official a few years ago when asked about the matildas success.

I like women's football,  clearly its not the same standard as the men's game for a number of reasons, but if women could sustain a higher degree of professionalism, it would improve acccordingly....its a bit like women's and men's tennis....clearly if you put the number one woman in the world into the mens game she wouldn't get too far up the rankings, but women's tennis is enjoyable, again for a number of reasons.

Fair shout. I went up to Blackburn last year to watch the Womens Euro Final between Germany and Norway (I think). Obviously as Reg says there is a vast difference between the womens game and the mens game but as the women are only semi professional and most have to balance full time jobs the standard is pretty good.
And just as a foot note the England womens team managed to hold the current Euro Cup and World Cup holders (and the winners of just about everything in the last 10 yrs) Germany to a 0-0 draw in a tournament in China overnight last night.
