Great Brazilian player with a great name....generally the standard of Brazilian players names has gone down hill in recent years too many Alex's for my taste, one exception being Hulk.

i remember him from that great Brazilian team from the 82 world cup, shame they didn't win it.

Fantastically elegant classy midfielder, was a real star of the 80s Brazil teams.

I remember him playing for Garforth Town in 2004 for one game and he did look like he had let himself go a little but then again he was 50 at the time!

Sadly missed hugely talented footballer RIP.

They should've won it, class player and I always remember his goal v Italy.
