I understand that when the players came off the Pitch Timlin tried to get into the Away Changing Room to 'take out' the guy who fouled him in the first half. As I understand it, Stewards had to restrain him and they stayed in the area until the players had come in from there warm down.
The player concerned stayed in the Away Dressing Room until the town players had passed.

I'm not surprised, it really was a disgaceful challenge and it didn't need to be made. Fair play to Timlin for getting up from it and fair play to him for going for the bloke. He's gone up in my estimation.

Where did you here this? I did the corperate thing on Saturday and when Timlin gave his post match MOTM interview to the disinterested business pricks he seemed pretty calm. That interview was only fifteen minutes or so after the final whistle. Phil King asked about the challenge and Timlin said it was no big deal, he was barely touched but stayed down to make it look worse (to try and get the bloke sent off a assume) He genuinally seemed to not give a fuck when asked.

He was told to calm down. It was made very clear that he would be in the shit if he didn't. He had to do the PR bit didn't he. He had no option.
