Was that the lad who was here the same pre-season as Parkin and scored a few as well?

I've always been intrigued by the near misses who never get named like the two French players who it looked liked we were going to sign after King’s trial game that then disappeared into nothing.

There was mention of a high profile ex-International as well three seasons back that King knocked back because of his age.

I remember when we played Didcot in pre season a few years ago with loads of trialists, they were all absolutely shocking...
