As the other half is not well me and the dog had a bit of an iPlayer filmathon last night...
The Keeper - Bert Trautmann biopic was pretty good. Le Mans - Which I cannot believe I have never seen before was OK, a bit meh considering some rave about it!

Tonights viewing sorted. Think I might be having a cry during this.
True story, my sister was a massive Schumacher fan and she used to get paddock passes to Silverstone. As she wandered through, Schumacher came out of a building and got onto a moped in front of her. She was so shocked all she could do was touch his shoulder as she said "Michael" before she burst into tears. She didn't even get an autograph.

I had no clue what it was about to be honest. I also enjoyed it, I think that year was decent for films wasn't it? I enjoyed Green Book which I think was from the same year.

Can't edit but what I meant was I didn't know what it was about prior to watching.

The People Just Do Nothing film is great.
Saw it in the cinema but I think it's now on Netflix.

Watched Hidden Figures on Film4 tonight. I'd never heard of it but the girlfriend wanted to watch it for ages apparently. Great watch and would recommend it.

Watched 1917 Friday and Dunkirk last night. 1917 the better of the two for my money, but both good films. Very bleak.

Went to see the new Bond yesterday. Enjoyed it, although it was far too long. I thought it was a very good action film but not enormously Bond-y - if I was more emotionally invested in Bond I could imagine not having liked it very much.
Kinda hard to explain more without enormo-spoilers mind.

Totally agree that it was wat too long. Probably my age but I got really bored with car/ bike chases and endless gunfights. Probably should have seen that coming though.

The wife was just with her sister driving round The Cobb at West Bay yesterday as its only about 15 miles from us and saw Matt Lucas and Timothee Chalamet (yes I hadn't heard of him either!) dressed up ready for filming the new Willy Wonka film down there with fake snow all over the Cobb.
