I don't think Flitters is overly keen on many of the leftovers, aside from Vigs, Conroy and Norris. Brophy and Goddard might get a bit longer.
I've seen nothing to suggest Brophy and Goddard aren't important players in DF's plans...?

Thomas is a shocking player I don't even know what he offers he's no where near good enough for league football and another example of some dross we had here last year. I can't even believe he was at Liverpool and played for England. He's soft as a player can't head it- can't tackle and seems to always be in slow motion

Thomas strikes me as someone who's a decent trainer and is good at understanding tactical instructions (based on comments about him in the press and him playing three or four different positions last year). That will always do well with coaching staff.
I always thought his positioning on the pitch was good. His problem is his technique isn't good enough, either with the ball or trying to tackle.

He's signed for some team managed by Teddy Sheringham.

Rather he went and we retain Tom Smith - although, it's difficult to see how far up/down the pecking order he is.

He'll be playing with Robbie Keane.
Ex-Town loanee Ashley Westwood is their technical director too.

Behind Dunne and Linganzi, but not far behind... Dunne's good for a red card or two and Linganzi will pick up knocks. TS will play football this year.

From what I've seen Smith should not be behind Dunne...

I wonder if he's any good at cricket The old footballers who used to be cricketers as well would clean up nowadays. Imagine someone like Chris Balderstone, 20 years as a pro footballer and England caps in Test cricket. Could do the ISL and IPL. The last of the line was prob Phil Neale... Lincoln City stalwart under Graham Taylor and captained Worcester to the County Championship. Since 2000 has been in the England Test back room.... still there.

never rated him.. So if he goes, I hope he can rescue his career.

Re Conor Thomas. I guess his finest hour with us was the nicely taken goal against Millwall. Didn't do toooo bad when asked to play out of position last season.
A less frantic pace of game might suit him in India.
Difficult to see what Liverpool saw in him though. Maybe not the same player now after serious injury or shows that the hoovering up of young talent by the larger clubs is entirely random.
Good luck to him anyway.
