I don't need much of an excuse to repost this beauty, but your mention of ½ & ½ scarves is good enough.  So thank you.

Currently on the BBC story about the Flying Scotsman. Proofed by a moron again.

It will painted in its new green livery next week after the test run.

Jim Lowe, head of operations at the National Railway Museum in York, said: "We have all been looking forward to the day when Flying Scotsman is once again running on Britain's tracks."

Driving along the M4 around an hour ago, a car was broken down on the hard shoulder. They must've called a friend to come and assist them, who decided to park not behind, nor in front, but beside them straddling into lane 1. He was just opening his door into live traffic as I drove past.

When you hear about a fatality between J17 and J16 on the news later, you'll know why.
Hope you dialled 999. That's potentially carnage that.

I thought about it and with hindsight I probably should have. Conditions were terrible, but still muppets with no lights and others easily doing 90mph+.

I expect others did anyway as every time I've done it they've been aware already.

Don't doubt it at all. See it every day. Roads more dangerous by the day.

Never succumb to the bystander effect if people could be in danger. Better to have 10 people report it than 0 if someone were to get hurt!

Sorry.. It's a psychological phenomena and giving me an opportunity to talk about crime or psychology is like giving Reg an opportunity to bash the Tories Wink

"danger Officer" has got a ring to it mind.

Ells, I'm guessing you're familiar with Dunning-Kruger syndrome?

I actually don't remember why I asked, there was a trigger there somewhere. I think vodka definitely helped.

Still though, I'm sure that you would be familiar with the Dunning-Kruger effect?
