Although if it is all done and dusted by the Millwal lgame I think I'd like to see Wilson rest a few for that game so they are fresh for the PO games

The potentially interesting scenario is if 3rd is the best we can hope for after 45 games, but with Millwall not certain of 2nd place.  Leeds and/or Charlton might take a fairly dim view if we started resting players at that point.

I would definitely rest players - why pick up injuries, suspensions etc. In fact I would start resting them after Saturday if we do not win that fixture.

I was thinking the same last night, be interesting if it was already decided we were 4th and 5th before that game. As there could be 20000 people watching a reserve match.

As a lot of people have pointed out, it's still very close. We've dropped off but still have a shout if we win our remaining games, which is perfectly possible. Some very interesting fixtures remaining which could have a huge bearing on the final table:

Fri 16th April: Huddersfield vs Millwall

Saturday 17th April: Charlton vs Norwich

Saturday 24th April: Leeds vs Franchise

Saturday 1st May: Charlton vs Leeds

Saturday 8th May: Millwall vs Swindon, Leeds vs Bristol Rovers

Every team above us in the table features at least once in that list, so you never know!

right, we shouldn't give up hope of 2nd until chance really is gone.  More twists and turns to come.  Or more pants to come down.  But we want to be giving the spanking.

I was thinking a lot today about how massively well we've done this season.   Damn proud of the club, players, Wilson, Fitton and what's been achieved.   No way we are throwing in the towel.

I think we have to win all of our games to finish 2nd. Can't see that. Think we should finish in the top 4 though which is a fantastic achievement.

I still believe. Can't afford to go to games and not show that belief to the lads on the pitch. More of the same this Saturday, Swindon fans. LOUD AND PROUD.

Our only hope of finishing 2nd is if Charlton beat Leeds and we beat Millwall. Hopefully Norwich will at least draw with Charlton!

vs Brentford, everyone needs to show them our gratitude and how proud of them we are for what they've done in the space of a year. Go fuckin' barmy and let 'em know. They're professional so will know what to do anyway, but I bet they like hearing what we keep saying on boards like this.
