SSW has a peice in the G & H - not sure if it is available online but the main points are:
He will be happy to sit in the TE and take his grandchildren
Good to pass the baton on to someone who is going to move the club forward
"they are real football experts, I think we could see some exciting players coming to STFC"
SSW confident money will be aviailable to Sturrock
Ref CVA "we wouldn't have got his far if we hadn't spoken about it"
SSW was not at the meeting but was represented by James
From Carson:
New owners have experience of running a football club in portugal
They have put a lot of money in so they are going to do things right and they are going to go out and get a fair few players
Money being put in will pay debts which means we will owe no money
There is still a lot to do but things will get better
Does not know if he will still be involved with STFC

Pretty much sounds like Carson is out the door and good riddance.....SSW could have walked with his head held high, but in my opinion has blown that opportunity.

Without SSW playing King Theoden to his Grima Wormtongue, Diamond Mike should be on his way....its just possible though he may linger to cause some further mischief in the Shire. |
