Hartlepool fans seem confident. Some of them think they can make the play-offs this season. I beg to differ although anything could happen today. Let's hope we play as well as we did against Brighton.

I can't see us letting many in... 1-1 or 1-2 to the Town.

A very undisciplined start to the season - Two match day threads, neither started by SSWS - not an omen for the season I hope:no:

I will use this thread as it at least has the proper title.

My stock prediction for last season was 2-0 Connell, Benson. For obvious reasons I will have to change that for this season and it will be .....2-0 Williams, Ritchie.

However, for one game only I need to take into account the 'new player scoring two goals on his debut against his former club' factor and say.... 2-0 Miller (2)

A 5-0 tonking at Crewe last week, I wouldn't be feeling too confident if I were them

Have to start the season brimming with confidence so lets go for 0-2. If this was mid season then more likely a draw....

Second half display against Brighton hopefully to be continued....worried about DiCanio`s emotional state though.

The confidence is good amongst the players and also us supporters, only one predicted loss over on the prediction league. I'm going for a 2-1 win with Ritchie and Williams scoring but getting anything away will be ok.

i'm going for a 3.0 win.

Williams - 2
Navarro - 1

Also, has Caddis travelled with the squad? I see he hasn't traveled! Shame

No way of knowing form this early but will take a punt on 2-1 Town with Collins and Miller scoring
