As for shore up or sure up;
I was sure that I could use either. Pretty certain one is to support and the other is to secure?
Nope https://kris-spisak.com/writing-tip-shore-up-vs-sure-up/Although it's a bit of an evolving language topic really. "Sure up" has started to appear more and more, initially as a malapropism, then as a claimed neologism. I guess as more and more people use it, it will become an accepted part of the language in its own right.

Wellens said something about looking for a holding midfielder in January, which surprised me.
replacement for Dave, assuming he's off then?

And Woolery. His finish today (and running off the ball for Doughty after setting Doughty up for a driving run forward and return) reminded me of the Don.
There was a hint of the Don about the goal.... probably the drop of the shouder to sit the keeper down. The difference is the Don had scored a hundred league goals by 23, whereas Kaiyne has about 8.

Did cross my mind, which would be a shame. Dave's clearly a class player.

Haven't read back yet.
A win is a win...earlier in the season we would of lost today.
Better the first half but struggled in the second.
Abeybayo was awful....like an extra player for Newport at times.

I don't think you'll find many that will agree with you on that.

The adventure of English being one of the most interesting and evolving languages. Essentially it is accepted and thus can be used. I think this term is much more acceptable than some of the tripe that gets accepted into the OED, like "staycation" or "yarnbomb".

Such a nice feeling to win a game that could have gone either way. Reckon we deserved it for our endeavour. Nice to relax back at home with a winning pint after a more satisfying long round trip than most this term!

It is a nice feeling. I like your username, it's clever. I wish I'd thought of that.

Would you behave! We've barely made 30pts and you're over there celebrating. The state of you! You know we have to get to 51pts ASAP to put the lid over the Football League trapdoor.
