Saw Precious tonight. Disturbing subject matter, but a very well made film.

Watched Forgetting Sarah Marshall last night and now, and really enjoyed it. There's some proper laughs in it. Russell Brand is fucking genius and the highlight of the film, shame he didn't get a bigger role, because he was the biggest provider of jokes.

Watched "Chloe" last night. It was a bit wank, but saved itself with a decent lesbian scene between Julianne Moore and Amanda Seyfried.

Just watched the Hollywood version of Edge of Darkness starring "Mental" Mel Gibson and Ray Winstone.
The film has fair bit of vengeance but a hell of a lot more Baaaawston mumbling.

Just finished watching Kick Ass. Didn't really know what to expect, saw the trailers and that's about it, but have to say it was fucking good! Ultra violent and gruesome. Just what you need on the lord's day Great soudtrack as well but you come to expect that from a Matthew Vaughan film.
