Bristol City bid 500k for Nathan Thompson
Obviously bollocks, after all they paid over 400k for Aiden Flint so I'm assuming there's a number missing from the front of your number

It explains why he ran to the away end after the match. It was to let them know he's joining them.

Luongo's body language this season and pre-season comments tell me he is off.
Not sure if the rumour above is one invented or not, but Brentford would hardly be a shock move:
- London club - 5th in the Championship - Pritchard and Button are there - Impressive past performances against them - Money in the bank in general and willing to spend on League 1 players having spent seven figures on Odubajo from Orient pre season - Money in the bank (and a player to replace) from selling their key midfielder Adam Forshaw
On another note, my sources tell me we are likely to lose Andy Williams in January to cash in before the summer with his wage demands unreasonable.

That'll be Williams signing an extension in January then.

If they came in with a million I'd sell. He hasn't scored since the first game of the season and CM is probably our strongest area with Yas, Louis, Gladwin, Reeves, Rodgers, Stephens & the option to strengthen in Jan should we have to cash in.

Agree. Anything over £500k I think would be a goer.

Really? We're talking about probably the best midfielder in this division, an international, who's still very young and whose fee will be soaked up with a proportion going to Spurs. I'd rather we hold on and if we have to sell, do it in the summer when he'll be worth as much is not more and we've got a shot at promotion.
As for Williams, it's critical we keep him too. It's unlikely we can afford to keep him in the summer as he's on a contract from our less frugal days, but can we afford to sell?
