30 mins to go up at Maine Road, lost 3-0 with Horlock scoring - I forget which season and can't be arsed to look it up.

About 5 mins into the second half against Stockport, tuesday night game couple of seasons back.

Car wheel almost fell off on the way to Swindon. Got to the county ground and were then told we couldn't get in.  Went for a walk down the nationwide found a very slightly opened fire exit, managed to open it and walked in.

That was one good thing about last night - Chester stewards couldn't have been more helpful. And let us in for free!

I got to Chesterfield at half time once, when we were 3-0 bloody down anyway....train stopped in the middle of nowhere, all the locals were getting the arse and then there was a procession of fat men running half way across the town to get to the game!

Best bit was, with them 3 up, the stewards didn't let the in at half time to the home end. I ran round to the away end and scrambled so my head popped over the gate and got a stewards attention. I offered him a fiver to let me in, and he pissed himself, and said he'd pay me to come in we were so shite!

2nd half was shit too!

This is my first post on here so hi everyone!

I remember travelling to Kiddy Harriers for an LDV Cup Game about 3 seasons ago. We started off from Swindon really early but there was an accident on the M5. We got to the ground about 9pm in the end and was not going to bother, but when we got there, apparently there had been a floodlight failure earlier on so the game was just about to start.

The game kicked off about 9pm, and there was extra time as well (golden goal?) Anyway, Kiddy scored near the end and we lost 3-2.

Ha! I got caught in that one as well - what made it worse was I was supposed to be doing co-commentary on radio that night. Bricking myself we weren't going to get there for kick-off, screeched into car park at 7:42, ran to reception to get press passes and the bloke says "I don't know what you're rushing for, we've got no lights". Then follows an hour and a half or so of trying to do "fill-in" chat with Ed Hadwin and Shaun Hodgetts to fill air-time. Which is extraordinarily hard to do, when you're put on the spot - I don't normally run to much more than 2 mins of intelligent chat at the best of times, never mind live radio. Then Danny Invincibile got our extra time equaliser ruled out by trying to get the last touch when it was already going in. Bah!

I remember the Kiddy game. I turned around on the Motorway at about 8pm because I was still stuck outside Tewkesbury and went to the pub.

I know Scotland fans who have travelled all the way across Europe for an away game and never actually made it to the match itself! :-))(

Charlton away - 92 I think, they were playing at Upton Park anyway. My mate drove and we got hopelessly lost, arrived 15 mins into 2nd half, I was so pissed after getting in (free) I tried to sit on a barrier in the terrace and promptly fell off. I don't remember the score or owt.
