Got to also give Davie Moyes a shout as well. 5th place and a FA Cup final appearance is no mean feat.
Whenever I watch Stoke on TV the atmosphere is always electric. Is 'Delilah' the only football song that only 1 club sings and hasn't been nicked?

we've been to Aberdeen, we hate the Hibs, they make us spew up, so make some noise, the gorgie boys, for Hearts in Europe.

I kind of meant famous songs that people up and down the country might be familiar with. I.e 'You'll Never Walk Alone' which only Liverpool and Celtic sing in the UK.

My post was tongue in cheek. Apart from Delilah, the only one I can think of is rovers prostitute song.

Any idea of the relevance of both songs?

Think the story goes that some Stoke Fans were getting rowdy before a game and singing the usual songs to a woman who walked past. Copper asked them to behave a bit more and not sing stuff so offensive and so they started to sing Delilah and it stuck.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Delilah_(1968_song) No one knows for sure..athough ive read on a forum that the DJ at Stoke matches had a limited amount of records and played it before every match...and it stuck with the fans.

I'm Forever Blowing Bubbles
Anyway back on topic, Hodgson has done a good job at Fulham and they could really march on if they sort out their away form. I reckon Stoke could end up in the Prem for at least another season, they're making the most of what they've got, a bit like Bolton did a few years back.
Pulis annoys the smurf out of me by wearing that rediculous baseball cap during games though.

Hodgson is a class manager. Always suited and booted, looks the part and conducts himself in interviews very well.
People like Alladyce, Phil Brown and Benitez should take a leaf out of his book.

I'd find it hard to choose this year between Hodgson, Moyes and Pulis. All done fantastic jobs.

I'd prefer him getting a shot to the head rather than a shout. Biggest moaner and bad loser in the world of football, bigger than even Phil Brown and Steve Bruce put together which is saying something. Plus he's a ginger. Double plus he's Scottish. Do I need to go on?

Crewe sung it first and still do sing it quite regularly.
