...shit heads!!

Peacock, Roberts, Amankwaah?Huh?? Murray?Huh???

Now I'm not one to judge but could we please stop buying these ex-shit heads please.

(I realise I'm jumping the gun a little but what was wrong with only chasing ex-Watford players, other than Moses).

City have become, and will probably remain for some time, the biggest team in the region. City cast-offs are probably something we're going to have to live with over the next few years.

As long as we get first dibs to rummage through their trash pile for gems, before dirty Rovers, Cheltenham and Yeovil  get their grubby claws gripped onto them. It might not be such a bad thing.

Why not? He would score more than the rest of our strikers on his own in a season.

I couldn't give a shit who we sign, if it means getting into the play offs because we've signed 10 ex City players then so be it.

Maybe I'm being a bit old skool, but the thought of more ex-city players doesn't excite me.

Despite what the majority feel about certain players I've been sat near an ex-city Swindon player laughing about Swindon being a town full of inbreds etc.  Doesn't make me feel as if he's as into Swindon as he appears to be.

Maybe I'm wrong though eh?

I agree with you on this.  The Scott Murray baiting that went on makes it hard to imagine someone like him being part of our team.

Perhaps when our youth set up becomes more established we can take credit for some successful home grown talent.

Reg and others, back in the 70, 80's, early 90's how many of our players had Brizzle club routes?  Just out of interest.  I'm just trying to work out if this is another case of me growing into a grumpy old sod, who should chill out a bit more!!

Amankwaah

Why did he not see fit to spell his surname Amawankah?  In fact deep down I still hope it's pronounced I'm-a-wanker.

He's a wanker....

I'm a wanker...

Dum diddy dum diddy duh...

Let's not forget Steve White for one!  And the player who scored against City at Ashton Gate in the 80's(I only know that because I just watched the goals).

A plethora of examples for you there Jan.
