I've just got in having walked over the hills back to Old Town from Marlborough.....4 1/2 hours, so bit of life in the old dog yet.  Fair play, a bit of a trek. Hope you wear a high vis top when going along the roads. |

There's plenty of footpaths, bridleways and tracks between Swindon and Marlborough, so there is a choice of routes, the only road hazard is crossing the A346 on the route I used today. |
