Went down to Minety last night, the road to Purton was shut at the pub, accident about 6-30 involving a car and some walkers apparently.  Police taking measurements etc., still closed at 11-30 last night.  Not looking too good.

The bottom of Thamesdown drive just where it goes to single carriageway by the river has a shit load of police and the path on the other side of the road is cordoned off. Presumably something completely different.

Oh yeah, been meaning to ask this for ages, but what is that mini stonehenge thing down there. Real or some strange developer joke? It looks like something out of Spinal Tap.

I remember finding some porn mags in a bush with my mates when I was about ten.  They provided hours of entertainment until some bastard found our stash and had away with it!

Yeah, what was that. I used to live in Eldene and found loads as a kid around there. It was like finding gold at the end of the rainbow.

Why were they always hidden in a hedge or bush though?  And why always only porn?

I think it was kind of like a modern day book exchange, only clandestine because of the nature of the material.

A great tradition most likely ruined by the internet.
