Think I may have been to one in Cardiff, by the millenium stadium.  Ben would know.  Overload cheese but 2-1 drinks.

Is it your final year now, Si?  Did you do a placement?

I feel for you.  For some reason I didn't have to do a dissertation, instead I had to do some ridiculous project on business data or something.

Got any plans for when you've finished?

Nothing exciting, just looking for a job. Waiting for a couple of companies to get back to me at the moment, but still not sure where I will end up (Southampton or Swindon). Did get invited to work in America over the summer but I kinda need to be around my family really.

My dissertation is all about the assessing the effectiveness of a salary cap in the football league. It's terribly exciting  :|

At least you've managed to find something relevant and a bit interesting.

The only lesson I could every really stand was economics(and varients of) because the lecturer was superb, and a good old socialist :advercool:

What degree did you do?

I'm doing accounting & finance but to be honest loads of it is pointless management bullshit. At least it's blagable.

Business Studies, 80% was as you say 'pointless management bullshit'.

I have a strange sort of respect for people who can do accounts, my dad is a kind of accountant as is my best friend from uni and his girlfriend(I pointed out how interesting the children would be, but he said he'd heard it).  I was always decent at maths but there is something about accounts that I can't fathom.  Makes it interesting being self-employed Cheesy

I did accounting at A level so I knew what I was getting myself into. Hopefully I will find a trainee job although I'm not too hopeful of that happening straight away. Still, I don't mind doing anything really as long as I can train as an accountant someday.
