Adi has done a very good job at Chelsea with the youths, hes also a fairly intelligent bloke, could be ideal for him. |

Benitez wants to get back into the Prem, so this job can only bring him back onto the radar of potential suitors. As has been said, if he saves them then he is a miracle worker, if he doesn't it's not his fault, no lose situation for him.
He will also only take the job if he has full control, which is what previous managers didn't have..
