What's the point of the "he's not actually that stupid, just manipulating his audience" argument? It's kind of the "Katie Hopkins defence" - That surely only makes it worse, that anyone would exploit something so destructive for popularity.

I know a lot of people who blame their problems on migrants etc because they don't know any better. They've been told that's the case by the Trumps of this world. It's the people that DO know better, but choose not to, that perpetuate hatred and discrimination. They're top of the chain, and that makes their motivations irrelevant. Fuck them.

It's up to the good people of the US, if they want Trump. It's up to the good people of the UK and Gibraltar if we want to leave the EU.

I'd guess you favour Brexit and England becoming the 51st State.

Guessing isn't really your forte, is it Reg?  Smiley

I don't give a toss if the United Kingdom stays in the EU or leaves. It makes no difference. The EU is a totally corrupt institution, the same way as the UK government, the US government and every other one is. Run by "politicians" who are generally evil corrupt lying sociopaths, who are always drawn to power by their very nature. I don't vote at all as I will not give my consent in acknowledging a system that is broken and allows the tyranny of the majority.

I can't believe that Alan is actually sympathising with Donald Trump's political agenda.

Well yes, it is interesting. I detest politics and the statist system. There is a lot about Donald Trump that I do not like (e.g. nationalism, pro-military) but that is part and parcel of the system so he will do those things. It is more to do with having the best of a bad bunch. Do we really want more of the Clinton or Bush dynasties? What did they achieve apart from more global mess? Another Obama? Who promised "change", yet the major thing he has changed in two terms of office is to put American health insurance payments through the roof with Obamacare.

Would you prefer your next door neighbour to let his house go to wrack and ruin and ultimately devalue your property, or would you prefer one who realises that the gutters need fixing, the doors need painting, the grass needs cutting and does something about it?

More to the point to me is if the West can have someone - anyone - who can stave off the collapse of our collective societies for a while longer so civilisation stands a chance of getting to a better place. Which it ultimately will when those parents who persist in hitting their children finally stop.

It's not an argument from me, just an observation. I think the bloke's a reprehensible chode.

And you think Donald Trump is the saviour? Deary me.

I'm interested to hear what you think of Sanders, who could well have the democrat nomination.

Donald Trump has so many business failures it's hard to see how he won't fuck up running a country.

Donald Trump has rightly put several of his businesses into bankruptcy as they were bleeding money. Any astute businessman would have done the same. "So many business failures" well, that's 4 out of 515 current subsidiaries. So, so many. Come on Si, you're better than this, you should try harder as you are an accountant.

Quote
According to a report by Forbes in 2011, the four bankruptcies were the result of over-leveraged hotel and casino businesses in Atlantic City: Trump's Taj Mahal (1991), Trump Plaza Hotel (1992), Trump Hotels and Casino Resorts (2004), and Trump Entertainment Resorts (2009).

The Trump Organization has interests in real estate development, investing, brokerage, sales and marketing, and property management. The company owns, operates, invests, and develops residential real estate, hotels, resorts, residential towers, and golf courses in different countries, as well as owning several hundred thousand square feet of prime Manhattan real estate. It lists involvement in 515 subsidiaries and entities with 264 of them bearing Trump's name and another 54 including his initials. With investments within the United States and globally, The Trump Organization spans a wide variety of industries including real estate, construction, hospitality, entertainment, book and magazine publishing, media, model management, retail, financial services, board game development, food and beverages, business education, online travel, airlines, helicopter air services and beauty pageants

When did I say that I thought he was a saviour? To repeat:

Don't know who Sanders is, never heard of him, don't give a fuck. Trump however has actually achieved a great deal in his life which none of the other (usually lawyers) have. For that I give him some respect.

So you say he's the best of a bad bunch, and then admit that you know nothing about at least one of the others in the bunch.

OK then....

Well no, that quote is one good example. It's fucking creepy.

And who exactly at the evil MSM manipulated this picture for us naive fools to interpret as DODGY AS ALL FUCKING FUCK?

I think that it says a lot more about you than Donald Trump, Ells. Dredged up by "Hollywood Life" and "Hollywood Gossip". Naturally it shows him having intercourse with his daughter, fondling her naked breasts and generally committing incest.

Oddly enough my daughters used to sit on my lap as a matter of being father and daughter, they even put their arms around my neck when greeting me, kissed me, hugged me. They are still very affectionate because funnily enough, we love each other. It's called being related. If you ever, ever, ever insinuate that what I have is anything other than the natural relationship of a father and his female offspring then I will hunt you down and kill you, ok?

Yes, you found me out. Wahoo. I'm not interested in the "inclusive, diversity, political correctness" fascinated left. Mainly because they don't practice what they preach. Ever. Cunts.

Trump doesn't believe very much of what he is saying in the campaign - he's not completely stupid

Well no, not completely stupid.

In the media, a two-time Emmy Award-nominated personality. Was in the US "The Apprentice" in the Alan Sugar role on prime time TV for 11 years. Has written a whole load of successful bestselling books, is an eloquent and accomplished public speaker. Has grown a business empire that spans the globe. Is worth far more than a Mars bar and a packet of crisps.

So not completely stupid.

I can do this forever, John. As long as you continue to post like this:

That you are an absolute cretin. Thanks for confirming.

Thank you too for taking to time to respond to my factual statements with your well considered reply and references that rebuke my evidence. Alternatively, you usually find that children resort to name calling when they know that they are wrong or have lost.

Love and kisses

If you measure a person solely by financial wealth, then yes Trump is someone to aspire to (His is hardly a rags to riches story though, is it?)

Not sure if that makes him suited to leading one of the most powerful nations in the world though....
