Thorpe and Curo being saviours is like telling me David Icke really was the New Messiah.

Although they're not gonna do much if they're never selected.

Five strikers and we play 1 up front.

I say play 3 up front. We make too many costly errors at the back anyway, may as well try and score a few. Don't suppose King will change his mind on the one up front option though, despite our strikers abilities on the wing  :-))(

I'm half glad I have no money, saves me from watching that pap    :|

If anyone shall save thee, it will be Christian Roberts

just can't see it happening myself tbh

Roberts doesn't seem to be playing as well as we all know he can,

Cureton, looks ok but no end product

Fallover, only one with any form

Roberts has been playing well, he has come on the last 3 games and looked dangerous in each game.

If he starts he will score saturday

An optimistic post Dan - have to go along with you though, Roberts would be my pick as a goal scorer at the moment, though I wouldn't be suprised if JC suddently finds his form and bags himself a few goals - very soon.

I'd like to point at the reviews Fallon got last season to illustrate that maybe it is perhaps a touch early to judge these players.  Thorpe has started all of 3 matches, and hardly featured off the beach.  His finish against Oldham was inch perfect.

Cureton is looking low on confidence - a goal could see him go on and have a very respectable season.

Despite still being a bit porky, I have faith in Roberts. I have no idea why the hell he has spent the last three games on the bench. Clueless tactics.

Plus Roberts adds a bit of pace, and just lifts the crowd. We've seen him on form and at his best. Before he comes on the crowd chant his name, when he comes on the crowd chant his name, when he gets the ball we chant his name. You can see it lift him, he starts running at people with a bit of mennis, that lifts the crowd even more which lifts the team. He just has that bit of 'wow' factor that Cureton and Thorpe dont have at the moment
