He is indeed, told the coach he used to be a professional for Swindon, but failed to tell them how many times he had actually played. Smiley

Not exactly a player, but Luggy speaks to the Adver about our forthcoming game. Interesting quote presumably regarding the Fitton takeover (though I guess he could mean he made the decision during the three amigos botch):

Have to say, I assumed it was a reference to the Portugeezers, esp having the Spanish players imposed on him

Just looked at the Adver article. I hadn't been on there for a while. I see proofreading has been completely ditched. We should start calling it the Vader.

Sturrock got Town League Two in the 2006/07, before leaving to return to Plymouth Argyle

After an initially taking Argyle to their highest ever league finish

Fact-checking too:

The Glovers have struggled all season and with relegation all-but certain
- they're already down.

No they aren't. They're on 37 points with 9 available. They can catch Orient, Crawley,  Colchester and County. Admittedly, any one of those clubs only needs one point before it goes to goal difference. They are as good as down but not mathematically down yet.

Yes they are they are, they are on 37 with 9 to play for, and Orient, County and Creepy are all on 47 points.
