That said, it's football. Typically, a bastion of the working-class male and there will always be "banter", which I would extend to include the odd homophobic chant about Brighton. How far do you go to avoid offence? Is references to a team's geographical location also prejudiced and wrong?
You could always ban chanting, and make football more like the tennis?

Well looks like they shit it and took that video down so didn't get to see what it was all about but from reading all your comments sounds like it was some mindless cowards thinking they were big and clever being racist. I just hope my son doesn't have to be witness to stuff like this as he attends quite a few games with me. We do have some idiots associated with our club and its very embarrassing as they seem to think they are all out of football factory as witnessed the bell ends larging it up first hand in the pub doorway at Bradford on the last game of the season and they are just kids.
