Get in Holywell!

Done a £1.50 e/w lucky 15.

Vautour won @7/2
Holywell won @ 10/1
Trifolouim placed @ 11/4

The New One last up in the 3.20.  That romps home should be a tidy profit!

Title: Re: Cheltenham Day 1
Post by: Bob's Orange on Tuesday, March 11, 2014, 14:55:28
Had a massive £2.50 EW on Green Flag at SP (16/1)

Also have Our Conor in the 3.20, Foxrock in the 4:40 and Close House and Buywide EW in the last.

We really do need an aftertiming emoticon. Put them up before they've "won" next time.

Haha!  Was a late call I know fuck all but should make a decent profit on my £45 stake even if New One finishes no where!!

TNO would have won by a furlong. Unlucky.

Title: Re: Cheltenham Day 1
Post by: Abrahammer on Tuesday, March 11, 2014, 15:33:05
That would have been won at a canter by The New One.

All about Quevega now, 5 Coral accounts opened in family member names to take advantage of 4/1 price

Furlong at the least!

Anyone Return of £267.83 for a £45 stake so a tidy profit of £222.83

Question is should I now call it quits?  Or splash it over the next day?

Sad news indeed.  On a more positive note just said on the radio that Jason Maguire's op after his fall yesterday was successful and doctors dont want to see him again.  He should be back by Aintree.

Two bets, Hurricane Fly didn't get home but Alan King's Midnight Prayer saved the day for me at 9-1.  He may well have another Midnight horse running on Friday, I will be on.

How did you do DMR? I actually had £47.50 on the double due to a free £7.50 bet so came out with just under 400 notes! Nearly half a grand profit after 2 days! Delighted

Title: Re: Cheltenham Day 1
Post by: Quagmire on Wednesday, March 12, 2014, 21:33:46
Not a bad day, had the same double as mentioned on here, but lost a chunk of that on Dawalan.
Oscar Whisky, Fingal Bay, Dynaste and Annie Power for me tomorrow.
My SDG, Annie Power and Bob's Worth treble is still on too.

Title: Re: Cheltenham Day 1
Post by: Abrahammer on Wednesday, March 12, 2014, 21:52:44
Decent day for me, lumped on SDG which more than covered my other 2 small e/w bets that didn't return anything.

Think I'll be on a Felix Yonger/Annie Power double tomorrow.

Title: Re: Cheltenham Day 1
Post by: DMR on Wednesday, March 12, 2014, 22:10:11
Hard tomorrow. A day for restraint with one exception.

Paddy Power are 4/1 Big Bucks, and money back if he's second to Annie Power. That's a £100 bet to nothing. Get on.

I can't believe you can get 4s about BB - I will be having a big e/w bet.

Todays choices

13.30 Oscar Whiskey

Today's choices for the first 4 races:

1.30 - Felix Yonger
2.05 - If In Doubt
2.40 - Al Ferof
3.20 - Annie Power

Title: Re: Cheltenham Day 1
Post by: kerry red on Thursday, March 13, 2014, 11:44:42
Just had an e/w 4 -timer

Oscar Whisky
If In Doubt
Menorah
Tap Night

If by any miracle they all win it pays just under £58,000 so I suppose if they all finish placed it would be a quarter of that

Title: Re: Cheltenham Day 1
Post by: Simon Pieman on Thursday, March 13, 2014, 12:07:25
Not even close to a quarter if they all place.

Title: Re: Cheltenham Day 1
Post by: Ginginho on Thursday, March 13, 2014, 12:22:13
Looking at the odds, it looks like you've done a £10 EW accumulator, so roughly £700-£800 if they all place.

Title: Re: Cheltenham Day 1
