In the 1st half henshall and their left back ripped us apart. Their no 3 was bloody good as well. In the 2nd half they eased off a bit. Not a bad night. I didnt think any of ours stood out nor were any of them particularly shite. A decent crowd of 1601 and it was fucking cold. ferry, Caddis and Flint were there.

Storey looked good, fucking scorcher of a goal from the right back too. We were shocking at the back though.
Alex Henshall ripped us a new one over and over.

The difference between the two sides was in the final third. Henshall was causing mayhem in the first half and set up all City goals in the first half, whist Storey missed with a free header in the first few minutes and should've had a pen which the lino gave outside, but was at least a yard inside the box. Town scored the goal of the game from around 30 yards, and hit the woowork just before half time.
After City scored the fourth, City were trying to play keep ball for the remainder of the game.
Hopefully we can get Henshall back on loan next season, as he would do some serious damage in L1/2 with his pace.

My lad went and said that Henshall was unplayable and tore our right back a new arsehole. Murden is a very decent full back so that says all you need to know about how good Henshall is.
