I have to admit the first thing that popped into my head when I read your suggestion was an Aston Villa forum :-[ Title: Re: Personal DAB Radio Post by: Arriba on Thursday, August 27, 2009, 21:33:59 it's a great site.if there isn't already something about them, register and start a thread.
Title: Re: Personal DAB Radio Post by: yeo on Thursday, August 27, 2009, 22:51:12 I bought one on Ebay for £30, 2 years ago.
Ive dropped it hundreds of times, its got soaked while cycling and its still going. I dont think its a make though. Title: Re: Personal DAB Radio Post by: Gelbfüßler on Friday, August 28, 2009, 09:13:41 I got one from either Asda or Tesco about a year ago for about £30. Works fine but rapes batteries. 2 decent AA batteries only last about 3 hours on it.
Title: Re: Personal DAB Radio Post by: Batch on Friday, August 28, 2009, 09:52:48 I bought one a bit like this:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/ATMT-MP170-Player-Radio-White/dp/B000IEQCCI Don't bother unless you have a really really strong signal. It uses the headphone cord as an aerial to not very good effect. It also eats batteries. Title: Re: Personal DAB Radio Post by: 4D on Wednesday, September 2, 2009, 21:38:30 As I am now not going to Yeovil, I want to buy a personal DAB radio before Saturday 3pm :). I want one that doesn't munch batteries and one that also has FM available. Any final suggestions, please?

Title: Re: Personal DAB Radio Post by: pauld on Wednesday, September 2, 2009, 23:04:51 I used to have a Roberts one about 4-5 years ago (present from the missus for exactly the reasons you want one), ate batteries but they all did back then. Apart from that, it was fantastic and apparently the newer models have greatly improved on power consumption. I managed to break it about 3 years ago and and replaced it with a Sony one for reasons I can't now recall but always regretted not getting another Roberts, far better

Not quite a DAB radio this time.... Does anyone have a recommendation for an MP3 player? Preferably with... Radio 8gb upwards Under £100 with good sound quality Good battery life Ta very much x Title: Re: Personal DAB Radio Post by: Barry Scott on Thursday, July 29, 2010, 18:40:16 I've got a number of great ones off eBay from China for about £30. My last one was £30 and had 32GB, radio, video, games and loads of crap. Don't be tempted. I'm on my third, and if it wasn't for the fact that one's lifetime was measured in hours, I'd be on my forth.

I don't know if you are due an upgrade etc but just wanted to pass on the tip. Alternatively, it may be possible to upgrade to an 8gb+ memory card and headphones for your current phone.
