Retsina.... No

Oh yeah baby. Off to Crete for a week this Friday. There's a coveted bottle of Retsina in the fridge for tomorrow night's family barbecue as a practice. Nothing like it, full of evil collagens- mainly pine sap and Zorba spunk. Brilliant after a night on it with added sunstroke. Morning afters after the worse I have ever had, but the craic is ace...

  Smiley Enjoy.

The nearest I've ever come to thinking I was going to die, was after a session involving copious amounts of retsina, on some Aegean island. I put the 48 hour wipe out down to the calamari, but by association the mere mention of the word makes me queasy.

Being Welsh.

Better than the English at football and egg chasing.

Yay for the sheep shagging taffs.

You're only Welsh when it suits you.

If being proud of your nationality comes down to sport, that's a bit of a shame.

Nope. Go 'home' for our annual holiday every year.

Wales have always been the underdog, and to see them doing well for a change is nice. Nowt wrong with being proud about it.

Wales isn't a real country anyway. It was absorbed into England in the medieval period.

Hahahahahhahahahahaha.

Is that statement based of the FIFA rankings?
Sepp Blatter's FIFA.

Wales is the country equivalent of small man syndrome. It has a massive inferiority.

Mr Blatter took my money, so owed me a favour.

The difference between the two is expectations. No-one expects Wales to do well, the English on the other hand expect to win every tournament or even do superbly in it.

Personally, I get suicidal if we so much as concede a goal..

I saw a goal 'highlight' at Crawley, and they've put a banner behind one of the goals :

CTFC - Tinpot and proud

Must have been an interesting editorial meeting at the Guardian this morning, so there was a left wing demonstration (we better say that was OK - think of the core readership), but it destroyed a hipster cafe (oh but hipsters were adversely affected) - what shall we do.......

Obviously the cafe itself is the epitome of the Nathan Barleys, but attacking a small business because you're bitter and resentful about what it represents seems rather ill-directed and from the mind of the painfully thick.
