Austin was a better finisher.
Cox worked harder and has more footballing talent.
Parkin was a better servant, and had a better than one in two goal return.
Ranger is wasting his potential, but is probably the best target man we've had in quite some time. Other than Trevor Benjamin, obviously.

Smith and Ranger COULD get us in the play-offs this season.
I know its only 1 game but when Smith was playing without Ranger in the Oldham game, he didn't look very good (although nobody did to be fair!)

I stand by my comment, he is a dickhead. Just relieved he'll still be in the team. FWIW I thought Smith did OK at Shrewsbury without Ranger, and even with Ranger at Walsall it wasn't great, but Ranger had a poor game. It looks to be a decent partnership at times though. |
