Ok so I'm a bit of a simpleton

I need to show my class a video tomorrow but we can't get on YouTube at school - is there an app or something that will let me save the video to my IPad so I can show it? We have Apple TV in our classroom so I guess I could mirror it?

Thanks in advance clever geeks

That's too big for an iPad Reg. Plus you can't see through it.

It's similar to YouTube but for educational purposes.

Hi JFW, I can probably help you with this as I regularly make videos.

If you have Outlook or Google drive (The drive comes automatically with a Gmail or any other Google account) You can just upload the video to the Google drive or outlook and then watch it directly from there! Smiley

If you don't have a Google account, it takes 10 seconds to make one. Then just click the Google drive icon in apps, drag your video into it and wait a minute. Done. You can now view the video from any PC or device (iPad included) as long as you can access Google.

Just make sure you download Google Drive from the app store if it's not already installed.

The icon for it is the one visible on my screenshot here labeled "Drive."

Taking the confessions thread into consideration,  I'm not sure the sort of videos you make are going to be suitable for 8 year olds. They're probably more Teenytubbies, than Teletubbies.

You'd be surprised. I own and run a production company and frequently produce professional grade content.

I also have two diplomas in Media and film making.
