Now that's a proper start to a thread. Not sure how exciting this is going to be, but I'll give it a chance. England squad: Collingwood (C) Anderson, Bopara, Bresnan, Broad, Kieswetter (wk), Lumb, Morgan, Pietersen, Shahzad, Sidebottom, Swann, Tredwell, Wright, Yardy. Pretty decent squad that, not as good as some of the others but enough to not embaress ourselves I should hope. If anyone else fancies it, I've knocked up a quick Fantasty team on Cricinfo ( http://fantasy.cricinfo.com/fantasy/fantasyleague/user/dashboard.html) and I'll create a TEF league if a few people are interested. Team Nemo: Jayawardene, Dilshan, Malinga (Sri Lanka) Bosman, Botha, A.Morkel (South Africa) Pollard, Gayle (Windies) Raina (India) Kieswetter (England) Aamer (Pakistan)

I think we might have a chance to win this..yes, I did say win.
We've just beaten the Saffers in the final warm up, despite Pietersen getting out first ball, and Morgan could do what Dilshan did in the last tournament.

To be fair, Saffers didn't bowl Steyn or Langevelt, who are pretty much their best two bowlers, but it does look like we might have a decent tilt at this.

The spinners are going to have a big say in this tournament if the Windies games against the Zimbies about a month ago is anything to go by, as the pitches were dry and turning.

New Zealand have just beaten Sri Lanka, there goes my tip already! McCullum got 16 off the last 6...Not Brendan, Nathan- the off spinner. Took 10 off Malinga's last over, lummy.

A 17 year old Irishman just took 3-17 in four overs against the Windies. I wonder how quickly we can make him English?

The Aussies have just lost 5 wickets in the final over against Pakistan. They still made 191 though.

Have the ICC given it to the West Indies to bail them out in the aftermath of the disaster of the 50 over World Cup?

They'd have a very good team if we'd not nicked Morgan and Joyce off of them.
Aussies looked very impresssive last night, it must be said, despite that last over.
