Probably because Gills know the job is done but we've looked a bit better since the subs.

Ironically we look far better since the mass substitutions.

Fucking glad this is nearly over though.

In all my years of supporting this club I have never ever witnessed such a shambolic managerial display of vindictiveness and petulance. I am now resigned to Divvy 4 next season but not sure whether I shall be bothering too much as being a supporter is obviously of no importance to the managerial side of the club.

I admit, the number/manner of substitutions today looks somewhat curious

It's not curious, it's a Manager throwing his toys out of the pram, like Brown having a half time team talk on the pitch.  Whether it works or not, the obvious nature is to show a team who is boss.  IN this case it's the Cunt managing our team.

I haven't hated a manager (in the loosest sense of the word) as Sheridan. Clueless, petulant and spiteful

Hate a strong word.
Fucking hate the bastard.

Gillingham may have stepped off a bit but we have energised a bit and missed two good chances.

Just imagine this time last year, after the excitement and elation of the Exeter home game, a full stadium and a sustained title challenge - a time traveller from 2021 travels back.  'Hold on to your hats', he says.  'Global pandemic incoming.  But the icing on the cake is in a year from now, imagine Paul Hart.  And double the awfulness.  And then double it again.'

I don't take any pleasure when it comes to anyone losing an income.  Job insecurity is horrible, and football managers get this worse than most.  But surely, by now, John Sheridan must know that football management isn't for him.  Where is your self-respect, John?  Seriously?

Only 1-3? Well at least my over wintered geraniums are flourishing and the four tomato varieties and chillies are doing well. Sorry if appear flippant or not interested but those of us who have been around a few years have seen this all before. It bloody hurts to see a club you’ve invested 45 years in Man & boy, home & away an absolute twating embarrassment.

What a load of shit. We're fucked unless someone else takes over from Sheridan, quickly.

Subs have looked justified.

Payne has been creative in midfield
Odimayos pace has helped.
Curran has roughed Akinde up a bit
T Smith has stopped Pitman being isolated
Iandolo has got a couple of crosses in

Bit of both - 5 subs will freshen things up a bit, but given we were getting a bit testy just before that, I imagine the Gillingham coaching team had a word and told them to just settle and take the points now.
