But I think a lot of the SNP vote isn't for their policies per se, it's a pro independence, anti Union vote.

Some would accept almost any hare-brained policy if there was a chance of becoming independent.

Not the way I see it at all. It's the anti-austerity message that no mainstream party seems to be taking on board, until now.

In our system it's important to have an opposition which opposes. It's no use having an opposition whose sole function is to try and secure decent jobs for themselves.

Corbyn has shown in his 32 years as MP, that he's not corrupt....I'd have thought such personal quality to be highly desirable in a PM.

Anyone who thinks Corbyn is unelectable, just look at what the SNP achieved with a similar message and policies. Also, he's been an elected MP for over 20 years.

It just goes to show, repeat a narrative often enough and people will believe it. Apparently even if one of the main proponents of that narrative is Tony fucking Blair.

If Jeremy Corbyn gets anywhere near to being the PM he will royally shafted by the people who actually run this country which is the ingrained Whitehall Civil servants.

Going for a nice walk along the Thames this morning. Was a nice morning. Finished off with coffee and cake at a cafe.

There's lifts and escalators to get you up hills. They're the best bit about it.

Couldn't agree more, I love listening to middle class people who have never had a real job in their lives telling me all about how life is for the working man!

Incidentally Corbyn is a Chippenham lad isn't he.

Lived in Kingston St Michael until he was 7.   As the Torygraph sensationally revealed the other day, he live in a house that recently was on the market for 610k.

Evil 7 year old bastard.

As indeed am I. Hotbed of radical socialism is Chippenham. I can see where he gets it from.

The seething populace brought to boiling point over the opening times of the open air swimming pool, the crumbling fabric and the seeds of inner town violence sown within the walls of Hardenhuish School.

The early degradation of the local youth by allowing Roxy Music to play the  Neeld Hall in 1970.

Someone once dropped litter FFS and I'm sure there is an early piece of graffiti stating 'Rosy fingered Alison'.
