Either is fine, I have always been a football league standard player in the close season Wink.

Reminds me of contract neogtiations between the old Fulham chairman Tommy Trinder, Johnny Haynes and Maurice Cook back in 1961...

Quote
Haynes was first in and the chairman was as good as his word. He emerged as England's first Pounds 100a-week player and gave his waiting colleagues the thumbs-up.

Among those who followed was centre forward Maurice Cook, who was told that his off-season summer wage would be Pounds 15 a week.

Cook protested about the disparity between this miserly sum and what Haynes was receiving.

'But Haynes is a far better player than you are,' Cook was told.

'Not in the fucking summer, he's not,' Cook retorted.

Chesterfield want him off the wage bill apparently, Pompey paying better wages than Chesterfield.

Are you suggesting the pen might miss the paper?

Lots of rumours they are on the verge of folding totally so not altogether unsurprising, shame, they are a nice little club.
