Well written once again Mr. Rosso.

What an intriguing piece of information about Barr Beacon. Fascinating fact that.  Grin

Fancy us sneaking a tight win today, 1-0 town.

First goalscorer is about as predictable as ever (Williams, Collins, Rooney all around the 9/2 and 5/1 area) so why not have a few bob on Simon Ferry to get the 1st at a generous realistic 16/1 with Coral.

Corrected for you.

Sci-Fi should have got the first (for STFC at least) last week, but no returns on that, so realistic is right

I hope we give them a good pasting, ruin their run and kill their confidence for the final stages of the season.

But I can see us losing this one.

If KMac can sort our home form out, we might just win this league.

If I was a walsall fan with the form they are on, against a team struggling at home. Odds of 4/1 looks absolutely massive!

I base my prediction on the number of dumps the dog does on his morning walk.

So, for that reason, it's 2-0 - both Williams.

So the dog has different dump techniques. Obviously he deployed the Williams style twice today.

This will be very tough. A hard fought 2-1, with a late late winner from Alan Mac.

Gonna be a really tough game but one that we really have to win to stay in contention.

On current form they are better than us, here is the league table from 2013 of all leagues the top 10...

Team      Played   W   D     L  Points
Walsall         11     8   2     1    26
Northampton 13     8   1     4    25
Yeovil          10     8   1     1    25
Swindon       12     6   5     1    23
Bristol Rovr   12     7   2     3    23
Watford       11     7   2     2    23
Exeter         11     7   2     2    23
Man Utd        8     7   1     0    22
Gillingham     12     6   3     3    21
Morcambe    12     6   3     3    21

In recent years this fixture has invariably ended up as a draw, although I do remember a dire 3-0 loss in the joyful Malpas era.

Walsall are on a good run and we're shaky at home. We need to win to ensure nobody starts to open a little gap, doesn't matter how we do it.

Reading on their forums they expect to have a good following of between 800-1,000 today so should be a good crowd too, with a good tail wind maybe over 9k.

I expect 8,865 with 851 Saddlers in attendance.
