Says games at Bradford and Tranmere postponed.

Nothing on Trannies official website.

Damn was really looking forward to this game, not actually going but we are on a good run and I feel could have got a result up there.

Useless buggers. If it was Di Canio he'd have been on the pitch til 3 o'clock in the morning breathing on the pitch until it defrosted. Paolo 1 Ronnie Moore 0.

Don't think it would have affected Saturday, apparently McGurk (the player in question) was injured anyway -

Tranmere Manager Ronnie Moore is set to make a couple of changes to his starting line-up for Saturday’s visit of Swindon Town.

Both Jean-Louis Akpa Akpro and Adam McGurk are set to miss out after picking up knocks at Brentford, meaning Michael O’Halloran, Cole Stockton or Abdulai Bell-Baggie could get a starting role

I know they are damned if they do and damned if they don't but the big thaw is coming right now, temps tomorrow will be +5 deg and frost will lift. An inspection tomorrow AM by 9.00 am would stop people travelling. I think this is too early in this case. Tranmere isn't exactly the most snowed under place in the Uk right now. Very odd decision, and very annoying. We really could do with not building up too many midweek games late in the season as tiredness does mount up. I am sure one of the reasons for out recent big wins has been the longer then normal recovery times, especially compared to teams we have played.

Are there really no trains back South from Tranmere on the 19th after the match? Does every away fan have to take the coach or have I missed something?

Well whatever it is I'm still missing it! As far as I can see the last train to London leaves at about 8.30pm so can't see how it's possible.

Please enlighten me.....

If you can't drive it then coach will be only option.  No chance of getting from Birkenhead to London (or anywhere south if Brum) on the train leaving after 10pm.

Really looking forward to this, had the week off work anyway without any real plans so makes sense to venture up there
