I remember the days of watching Chippenham in the mid 90's when it was a handful of paying customers. I went with my dad (who's on the supporters commitee there, stopped watching Swindon because of the way the club was run in the late 90's) in about 1996 and 5 people went in support of Chippenham... Then the band wagon came along.....
Hope we beat them... They always make it sound like they beat our first team. I used to go quite often when I was little at half-time to get in without paying. Some lads I know started going late 90's, bought shirts the lot, and called me a glory supporter because I went to Wembley. For me it's a bit like United in Europe, I'm happy to see them win but I have a good laugh if they lose  |
