Boring 0-0.

Is anyone actually going to this?

Some of the players have I believe.

The most exciting thing today will be whether Lucien Sanchez or Arriba will win the Prediction League.

It's been a good battle all year, may the best man win...

Caddis is captain today. Douglas misses out entirely, Adver got that much right.

Clark, Pavett, Storey all on the bench.

Wray on the radio about the management situation. Applications closed yesterday, 20+ applications, going to interview 6-8 next week. Will not be making an appointment outside of the people who have applied, scoffed thoroughly at the Hoddle link.

Looking to interview a few different types of candidates, experienced and inexperienced, employed and unemployed. Unlikely to go a Journeyman candidate, but not got a particular template in mind.

Reasonably interesting Wray interview...Sort of.

Q. Douglas and Lucas appearance money triggered if played?

Wray: Rubbish - only Ferry affected by this clause but it doesn't worry club.
Wray: Having one on ones with players after match to asses attitude of whether they want to be here- new manager will decide.
Wray: Has rough idea of budget. Best way to increase budget is to hit ground running and play good football.
Wray: Hoddle was here to catch up and to look at clubs to put academy player to them. Yesterday was deadline for manager list, very strong candidates. Will have short list for interview Monday (6-8). Some well known with experience to people just finishing their playing days wanting to cut their teeth. Want to ensure they get the right person, but not take too long. No CV from MR G. Hoddle. 22 man list of credible candidates. They want to see those 6-8 this week. Wray encouraged the list is not the "same old names", though there are one of two of those - not route we want to go down.

Analytical genius on the texts points out our three major faults of the year- defending, attacking and players underperforming.

I think the main problem with this season is that we didn't get enough points.
