An interesting fact is that our joint record of 17 draws in a season was 95/96 when we won this league for the only time. Yes, and we should have won a hell of a lot of those...we never really spanked anyone that season. Enjoyed the season, mind...but it could've and should've been even better. I sound like a miserable old git...which in some ways I am... Cheers all, Donkey We were by far and away the best team in the league that season. We only drew so many because pretty much every single team we faced played for a draw! |

We were a damned good side that season. That team is one of the best Town sides I have seen, relative to the division they were in.
I can't actually think of another season where we went out and dominated teams week in, week out like we did in 95-96.

This was the season a bunch of what were clearly mates in front of me, decided to have a big falling out when one of them wouldn't stop moaning because we were only winning 1-0 at home to Swansea. I think after a few slaps he decided to go home around half time or just after. Didn't we give Oxford a footballing lesson at the CG that season? |

We drew 1-1, and they spanked us at the manor. We hammered them 4-1 two seasons in a row not long after that though.  |
