The only thing I expect the new manager to do is stay up this season, Anything else is a bonus and we push on next year. So whoever the manager is and I don't really care who it is, PLEASE PLEASE dont mention playoffs. By all means say we have a good squad but lets stay up by a good margin then push on next year and work on our defenders!

Perhaps, but I still maintain words and phrases like "blow you away", "proven" and a "motivator" are bound to raise expectations. Frankly it a perfectly normal thing to speculate on who we want and who we don't want. I think it's normal to speculate on getting people that are way out of our reach. Its the way it is. And I'll still be disappointed if its Ward or Sanchez . |

Keeping Byrne is any capacity would be a massive mistake. Any decent manager should be able to bring in their own backroom staff, and as bad a manager as Malpas turned out to be, he should have been afforded this as well.

We got big crowds when we did well or big teams came to Town. It hasn't changed.
What has changed is we can now moan about things and rustle up a crowd of people in a moaning frenzy and pass on myth as fact.
Since when did appointing a new Manager become a Simon Cowell produced affair?
Good reality check. The first few months under Sir Lou were also pretty shabby, attendance and performance-wise. It only changed when we started winning every game. |

I was really hoping for bit more of a reaction to this. I don't know, maybe an "Oooooohhhh!?!??!" or "Realllllly?  ?!!!". Basically any word with extended hard vowels or soft consonants with a follow up of extended punctuation. Even one of Samdy's snappy image macro things would have been nice (But I would have instantly banned him or anybody else for it). |
