Maybe PB will put out what perceives to be a second string 1st XI and hit upon the starting XI that should be starting week in, week out. An attritional, dull and poor standard 1-0 with an Adebayo goal from a goal mouth scramble.

A York/FGR double looks pretty tasty at about 35/1.

I’m going today, I have absolutely no idea what to expect. It’s raining, York are struggling for form. Points to only one thing based on our recent feeble cup exploits doesn’t it?

Poor opposition. Kick on today. 5-1 to the Town !.

As it's already been said a second 11 starting and PB realising that he should stick with these players

We're playing a National League North side but it's funny how my mind works simply because of York's league history. To me, it won't feel as humiliating as losing to teams like Spennymoor or Curzon Ashton or even Histon who were the tier above when we lost to them.

Regardless, it'll get real emotion if Town don't win this and Brown will be hoping that Duffen can sort him out some kind of sporting director role at Hull City if/when that takeover is completed.

This has got the stench of a 1-0 defeat all over it. They'll up their game a bit and, if its possible, ours will drop.

Still reckon the Luke relegation side was worse - Conor Thomas and Anton Rodgers😱😱

I know they're non-league, but I can't help but think of us not even looking like scoring against a poor Mansfield that was a man down.

I went to Oldham and Mansfield at home and watched the Cambridge game on Ifollow and we barely looked like scoring in any of the games. Worrying.

Islam Feruz 🙄

I don't think Islam Feruz has played a single minute of football (including reserves) since he played for Town vs. Charlton in 2017.

His Chelsea mega-deal expires in the summer.

To think it looked like he was going to sign permanently at one point.

it is very worrying. but not unexpected.

Woolery has been here 3 years without scoring many. 5 in 39
Anderson 6 in 53

adebeyo 12 from 34 isn't bad. But it's a big ask.
Richards isn't firing at all.

But this is York, they are porous. we'll be fine.

it's the league those issues come to the fore
