The fact that the club will now receive the Twine money (once the sum is sorted)
That’s gotta help us this season in wages and even paying money for a player in January perhaps….or debts.

He does seem like someone with potential who could do well in L2.

One question/comment - not re this lad particularly but loanees in general. In the past we seem to have had loanees who we have had to play, irrespective of their actual talent.  I hope that we do not end up in a postion where we have a dog that the Ben's are having to pick week in and week out just cos of the terms of the loan.  Or as ever, is this all bollocks on my part?

From what I remember, the way those deals work is they don't ‘have to play’, but the loan fee may go up if player X doesn’t play as much as the agreed in the contract.
That type of deal will probably be less of an issue now than it was under Power, who would have wanted to spend as little as possible.

Doesn’t sound like the second embargo (wage restrictions) is going to be lifted any time soon.

From my understand it tends to be

Loan feee agreed, let’s just randomly say 100k
Each game played 5k is knocked off the total.
So, play them 20 plus times and they are fee.
