IME going to Forest by train....if you state what time train your getting there and back,and ask for a leisure ticket you should get a cheaper ticket,i always get these,but the staff wont tell you about them,youve got to ask,if they say they havnt got any,get them to check again!...best to order them well in advance then they cant say theyve sold out.

old kent road is a huge detour by the looks of it - can you trim it down to about 10-12 stops Sam - realistically that's about all we'll manage whilst still enjoying the day.

I was looking at a route starting from bond street which ends up about a 10 minute tube rude away from Leyton................it does however cover a significant amount of pubs.

A swift half in each in the first few to get in a few pubs then stop longer at the nicer ones.  I aim to do at least 15............ :D

15 would be one every half hour - i still think thats pushing it a bit with walking time.

If you do it in the correct order of the monopoly board you wouln't get too pissed because of the travelling in between pubs.

I have a couple of cans of Becks Vier for the train and am currently waiting for a taxi.

The cash machine nearly swallowed my card again this morning but luckily I managed to get cash, plus I;ve found the acest pub near Liverpool Street on one of our stops  8)

It was a cool place, and there was a nice Whetherspoons across the road though so it wasn't all bad!

Which pub near Liverpool Street? I tried to find a decent watering hole there once but my mate was as clueless as I - he said he never went near there as it was too expensive.

We went into 'Dirty Dicks' ...which wasn't half as dodgy as it sounds. Was a total rip-off so we then went to Hamiltons (Whetherspoons) which is actually in/by Liverpool St Station
